In the years after the Civil War, Jo March lives in New York and makes her living as a writer, while her sister Amy studies painting in Paris. Amy has a chance encounter with Theodore, a childhood crush who proposed to Jo but was ultimately rejected. The Chocolate Trail is a self-guided tour that introduces you to our world-famous confectioners and bakers.  You’ll get to sample our decadent treats and meet the makers who craft these indulgences year round.  

Purchase your Chocolate Trail Pass in person at the Stratford Tourism office, which includes vouchers that entitle you to choose six of the stops on a self-guided tour.  The Chocolate Trail is offered year-round and is valid for 1 week from date of purchase. You can also give a gift certificate that the recipient can redeem for a Stratford Chocolate Trail Pass — those can be purchased online or in person. 

Limited availability on Sundays and Mondays.

Stratford Bacon and Ale Trail

Bacon and Ale - two of life's greatest creations!  You'll gain a whole new appreciation for your favourite obsessions.  This self-guided walking trail includes vouchers that you can use at 5 stops.  Each voucher will entitle you to a "tasting" of a unique bacon and ale inspired treat and the chance to speak to Stratford and area's culinary stars while visiting our unique restaurants and retail locations.  This trail is offered year round and is valid for one week (7 days) from the date of purchase.  Bacon and Ale Trail gift certificates are great for birthday and anniversary gifts, which can be redeemable at a later date.
