The SCS Farm to Table Series pairs beloved Stratford Chefs School recipes with highly regarded local food producers for a culinary adventure unique to Perth County. This class features proteins from Church Hill Farm and produce from Loco Fields. After the cooking is complete, take off your apron and savour the results of your labour with a glass of VQA Ontario wine. Perfect for the intermediate to experienced home cook.
Church Hill Farm is family owned and operated by the Lass family that specializes in humanely raised, pasture fed, free-range beef, pork, lamb and poultry resulting in a more flavourful, wholesome meat and a great eating experience. Located in the heart of south western Ontario, their goal is to provide chefs and retail clients with products which have a distinct flavour and quality.
Loco Fields is a small vegetable farm located just outside of Stratford that grows a variety of mixed vegetables, specializing in leafy greens, salad mixes, ginger, turmeric, over 100 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, peppers, specialty potatoes and other roots.
