The Chocolate Trail is a self-guided tour that introduces you to our world-famous confectioners and bakers.  You’ll get to sample our decadent treats and meet the makers who craft these indulgences year round.  

Purchase your Chocolate Trail Pass in person at the Stratford Tourism office, which includes vouchers that entitle you to choose six of the stops on a self-guided tour.  The Chocolate Trail is offered year-round and is valid for 1 week from date of purchase. You can also give a gift certificate that the recipient can redeem for a Stratford Chocolate Trail Pass — those can be purchased online or in person.

Birds of a Kind

TORN BETWEEN BLOOD AND BELONGING

Wahida, an Arab-American woman, and Eitan, a Jewish geneticist, fall in love in New York City. They travel together to Israel to meet Eitan’s estranged grandmother – who holds the key to a long-buried family secret. But it takes a terrorist bombing for that shattering secret to emerge.

Juliet III Cruise Boat Tours

The Tour Boat, running every half hour, is a great way to spend the afternoon on the River. 

There have been a few tour boats over the years spanning from the mid 1800's up to today. Officially their has been the Juliet I, II, and now III, but predating this there has also been a Juliet tour Boat back in the mid 1800's as pictured below. Countless tours have taken place over the years and proudly for more than 50 years the Herr family has carried on this tradition. Come enjoy a relaxing ride down the river and discover why this has been a tradition for many year and many more to come.

Summer Exhibition at Agora Gallery

The exhibition will evolve throughout the summer: as pieces are sold, new artworks will be put on display, so visit often to see more work by your favourite Stratford artists.

Stratford Bacon and Ale Trail

Adaptation and Inspiration

When historian Natalie Zemon Davis won the Holberg Prize for Trickster Travels, her groundbreaking work on “decentering history,” she didn’t imagine it would inspire a play. Join Dr. Zemon Davis, translator Linda Gaboriau and Antoni Cimolino, Artistic Director of the Festival and director of the play, in a discussion of the evolution of Birds of a Kind, conceived when playwright Wajdi Mouawad was asked to adapt the book for the stage.

Get your books signed! Natalie Zemon Davis and Linda Gaboriau will sign copies of their works following the event. We’ll have copies available for purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own.
