Open Kitchen | Trade Secrets | Pasta

Learn basic pasta making techniques, including the hands-on approach to kneading, rolling and shaping fresh pasta with instructor Eli Silverthorne. Students will learn critical steps to ensure the success of freshly made pasta, how to cook it, and judge proper doneness. Simple pasta sauces as well as appropriate pasta pairings will also be discussed and prepared. Perfect for the beginner or intermediate home cook.

  • Small “Hands-On” and Large Batch Dough
  • Farfalle with Sunflower Seed Pesto
  • Potato and Spinach Tortelli in Smoked Tomato Sauce
  • Pappardelle with Lamb Ragu
  • Authentic Carbonara

Wine available for purchase by the glass.

Safety regulations require students wear closed toe shoes when participating in any cooking class.

This class has a maximum capacity of 16 students.

Classes are for students 16 years and older.

Participants will be provided with an apron and all necessary tools and equipment.

Menus, recipes and instructors are subject to change as required.
